Just a quick note to the posse that meets at the Living Stones Church:
I just wanted to remind you of two things for this coming weekend -
1. Don’t forget about Growth Group sign-ups this coming Sunday. If you haven’t signed up for a group yet, Sunday is THE day to do so. You can do that in a couple of ways: a) check the appropriate box on the Connection Card on Sunday’s bulletin; or b) send an e-mail directly to contact@living-stones-church.org indicating which group you would like to be a part of. These groups are excellent avenues of both spiritual growth and relationship with others. There are a variety of groups…men’s, women’s, couples, open, etc. Select the topic, time, and type best for you! For a listing of the growth groups click here.
2. We have received a special invitation from Pastor Michael Patton and the Kingdom Life Christian Cathedral to join them in a combined “visionary service” (this was the event we had to postpone in February) this coming Sunday at 4:00 p.m. The service will be from 4:00 – 5:30 (to 5:45ish). Our praise team will play, their praise team will play, Pastor Michael will talk about vision, I’ll preach…it will be awesome. I promise this will be a great time to experience fellowship and different styles of worship! We believe this is important, as we discussed two weeks ago Sunday, that we are driven by certain values – not the least of which is our stated desire to “value unity with one another and the larger body of Christ.” For directions you can go to KLCC website, or meet at our church’s parking lot at 3:45 p.m. to carpool!

I am not very technologically savvy. I’m trying to remedy that by reading some different things and trying different things. To illustrate exactly how far I behind I am…I just discovered
Well, just write it down as another example as to why if you have some home repair that needs to be done, I’m not your man! My in-laws are here for the week. And as usual, we have a list for Dub (my father-in-law) in regards to things around the house that need to be fixed or repaired (because I’m a moron and can’t do it…and my dad never showed me how growing up…hear violins in the background). In our bedroom we have a ceiling fan that for weeks has made a hideous sound when we turned it on. Not like a background noise humming sound, but an obnoxious high pitched…keep you up at night sound! So, I exhausted all of my fix-it skills (which entails spraying it with WD40…my answer to just about every home project). So, I put it on the list for Dub. Well, Dub fixed it. Do you know what he did to fix it? All it needed was…the light bulbs tightened!!!! For weeks I either put up with the sound, or didn’t use the fan and all I had to do is TIGHTEN A FEW LIGHT BULBS!!! Real man of genius here!
Oh, is this too political?!?!!
The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. (John 3:8)

Anyone out there watch LOST? I love the show. Season Finale was last night. I loved the episode, except the end!! Any guesses as to what is going on? What was up with Kate and Jack meeting at an airport? Is this a future vision? Did they get off the island? Did Jack come back and end up being a mess? If it is future, why did he ask for the other doctor to get his dad and see if he is as drunk as him? Lots of questions (which is what a good season finale needs to do). But now, I have too many questions! A little frustrated…but man is it goooooddddd!!
