I wondered in the middle of the season (thanks to Sanjaya), but America definitely got it right in the end. The final three are THE THREE BEST singers in the competition. My guess is that the end vote will be as close as ever… 33% – Jordan; 33% – Melinda; 34% – Blake.
I think Blake is still my choice for the whole competition. He’s just an awesome entertainer. He is truly an original. But, how could the end result be wrong?! All three are awesome!
I appreciate everyone’s calls and e-mails of concern. Just a quick update, I’m feeling pretty good. In fact, I think I will beat the oral surgeon’s predictions and be able to preach on Sunday (that might not be good news for those of you looking for a “Sam” break…you’ll get one soon enough). It might not be a long sermon, but I can do it. Here a snapshot my wife took of me with a icepack on my jaw held there by a VBS bandanna.
Dr. Linman told me yesterday that I would have “significant” pain in the aftermath of the surgery. So far so good. What I’m confused by is his prediction that the worst pain wouldn’t come for a couple of days after the surgery. We’ll see. Normally, it takes him 10-15 minutes to remove four wisdom teeth. Mine was so complicated it took him 45 minutes just to remove my one!
Getting some reading done and trying not to do anything that will set me back. I did have a shower today and even brushed my teeth! Got to go…I’m going to chew on some bark to prove how tough I am.
