VBS Reunion Change

Dear Living Stones Church Family:

We have decided to CANCEL the VBS reunion scheduled for Friday, August 17th.  There are several reasons for the change:

  1. School starting earlier this year.  Usually our VBS reunion is at the end of the summer but prior to school starting.  We have always held it on the third Friday of August.  This year, that Friday will be the last day of the kids first week back to school.  We think the timing will negatively effect the number of kids participating.
  2. We had planned on having pony rides (no seriously!!).  That didn’t work out.
  3. High School Musical 2 is on that night ;-).  O.K…maybe that is just a small reason.  If you have no idea what I’m talking about, just ask your kids.  They will tell you.

We will invite the families of our VBS kids to our new Ink’d series starting September 9th and will invite them again to a fun event at the end of October.  But for your planning and preparation – no VBS reunion on August 17th.
