Michael Johns Leaving American Idol

WOW!!  Didn’t see that coming.

I would have guessed three others before Michael Johns.  Crazy.

Didn’t care for the dangling carrot Ryan put in front of him before affirming that he was booted.

Caleb (my eight year old) wants me to blog that he misses Danny Noreiga (but he also threw up tonight…so he is a little delirious).

Isaac wants me to tell everyone he is upset.  But he should also be on an anti-depressant…so…

Now both boys want me to say that grandpa likes Hillary Clinton.

Postscript:  American Idols sings Shout to the Lord…didn’t see that coming either.

  1. I am very disturbed by michael johns being ousted. JASON CASTRO should have went home. BROOKE WHITE…should be going soon…is America DEAF!

  2. i really didnt see that coming i thing that america got this WAY wrong. Sam i hate to say it(not really) carly shouldve left

  3. Grandpa adores Hillary Clinton because she has been the source of so many enjoyable moments over the years as her hand gets caught in cookie jar after cookie jar. The country should be proud that our former president and his frau have been able to “earn” $109 million in the last six or seven years (that we know about). That’s the kind of entrpreneurial spirit that made this country great and keeps politics pure and unadulterated (ooops, sorry, Bill, didn’t mean to use that word – ha ha). At any rate, none of the American Idol winners have been able to amass that kind of income because they are talented. So, yes, I love Hillary Clinton. She’s my man!

  4. Hey Sam, Heath from Church of the Heartland here,

I am kinda old school. Glad non-Americans aren’t going to win “American Idol”

  5. I too was shocked when they said for Michael to leave. There are others that should of went before him. But as for him not being Ameican….many of the people that we adore are not American, I thought it was supposed to be based on talent, but its the same old popularity thing……just like in school. I always hope the best and pray for the under dogs. May God guide him and his talent and show the world what he is really made of.

  6. hmm… Don’t they have a “fill-in-the-blank-nation idol” all over the world. Why didn’t he just go win that one?

Well, why do I care. It is just a reality show isn’t it :)

    Heath
