We had our 2008 Child Dedication yesterday at the Living Stones Church.  It was a packed house and there were A TON of children.  I mean A TON (I’m curious about our overall percentage of children)!  Not just the ones that were being dedicated, I’m talking over all we have A LOT of children. 

Typically, we have children’s activities geared for the kids in another section of our building for either part or all of our worship time, but yesterday we kept ALL of the kids in for the entirety of our worship.  I tried preaching.  The kids gave me 15 minutes and that was about all they could take . While a little warm (we forgot to turn the A/C on yesterday )  I thought yesterday was exciting.  It is a great thing to be blessed with so many children.  I know there are a lot of churches out there that are dying (literally and figuratively) for children.  Lots of children is typically a healthy sign of a church’s future.  May it be a healthy sign for us as well!!
