Kelly and I saw M. Night Shyamalan’s, The Happening, last night. Very freaky.
If you are a M. Night Shyamalan fan, I think you will like this movie. It is a simple story. Not a ton of twists and turns like there was in Sixth Sense, but still very intense.
I would put this in the caliber of Unbreakable and Lady in the Water (very good films) but not quite to the level of Sixth Sense or Signs. But…don’t worry. It isn’t like The Village!
If you love feeling nervous for about two hours…this will be a great movie!
Shyamalan usually makes an appearance in each of his movies, didn’t see him in this one. Did I miss it?

My brother was trying to talk me into seeing The Happening… not my thing. I was hoping to get some feedback from others before considering it. The only M. Night Shyamalan movie I’ve seen is Sixth Sense, so I have nothing to compare it to.

I saw him!!! I did not love the movie though. I was with it until the end, then my date and I looked at each other and went, “Huh?” The final scene with John Leguizamo was just ridiculous! I did scrath myself with my car keys this weekend. I think it may have been payback for that dandelion I dug out of my yard.
