Here in the Living Stones Church office the birthday celebrations have begun…cards, gifts, and Jennae & Ann wanted to take me out to lunch. I choose a hole in the wall Cambodian/Thai restaurant downtown South Bend that I love (Brian Walters helped me discover it!). I love the Pad See Ew! Delicious. We even finished the meal with a Cambodian dessert that I have no idea what the name is or what was in it…it was like warm coconut milk, gummy worms, crunchy items…but not bad!

Happy Birthday, son. 37 years ago this morning you were a total pain – just ask your mother. Born a month early, facing the wrong direction, and enjoying a case of Trench Mouth and jaundiced (you actually looked like you had a good tan), we weren’t able to touch or hold you for that first week. But when we were able to take you home (let the real pain begin – just kidding), you have been a source of joy, pleasure, challenge, frustration, fun and extreme pride ever since. And, following in the Barrington tradition of marrying better than you deserve, you have continued to give us the joy of experiencing you all over again in your children. Happy Birthday. You’re getting old, but I’m not. Your Dad
