You have probably heard of the great battles of history:
1) Battle of Thermopylae
2) Battle of Waterloo
3) Battle of the Bulge
4) Battle of Yorktown
5) Battle of Normandy
Yea…they were great because of their timing, ingenious strategy,and historical impact.
A handful of strategists are meeting weekly in a bunker in the basement of the Living Stones Church (yes – think smokey, dimly lit, cavernous setting, with sirens roaring in the distance, and an active game plan to hide any evidence that we have even been meeting if our enemy happens to stumble upon us).
Our task: mapping out a revolution, a resistance movement, and an overthrow of the South Side of South Bend through our children’s ministry – Kid’s Kanyon.
We are crafting a game plan. There is a map and strategy. We’re excited to share it.
KID’S KANYON VOLUNTEER (REVOLUTIONARY) TRAINING – Saturday, October 10th 9-noon.
Who should come:
- Anyone who has been serving in the Kid’s Kanyon…we promise it will be worth your time. Big changes. Life-giving changes.
- Anyone who has recently signed up to volunteer in any capacity in Kid’s Kanyon. (If you haven’t signed up yet…do so here).
- Anyone who is interested and thinking about being a part but needs information on our revolutionary takeover (e.g., parents, etc.)
We will have main sessions, breakout sessions, food, handouts, practical information, clear guidance, experts, food, etc.
Childcare will be provided.
