Dear Living Stoners -
Just a reminder for a few things going on this weekend:
1. Saturday evening from 6-9 pm we will be participating, once again, in the 27th Annual Erskine Blvd. Candlelight Walk. We will have farm animals in the front yard, carriage rides, a nativity scene, and we will be serving cookies and hot chocolate to the neighborhood!! Join us for the festivities and if you are willing to volunteer your time, we could use your help in all aspects of the event (e.g., set up, serving hot chocolate, clean up, etc.).
2. Sunday is the last opportunity to participate in Give 2011!! As we have been announcing, we want to bless nearly 1000 students at Monroe and Lincoln Primary Centers AND invest about $3500 into some renovation work into the “Pit” (where our student ministries meet). If you haven’t yet, this Sunday bring your check (made out to Living Stones with “Give 2011″ in the memo) section or cash. OR bring items for donation (e.g., hats, gloves, toys, etc.).
3. Finally - Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm we are having a wrapping party to prepare the gift boxes and ”goody bags” to deliver to the schools! The more people we have, the faster and easier it will be for the assembly line-esque activity. So, if you could – PLEASE – donate some time Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm to help us execute Give 2011.
