So…my mom has taken up the Living Stones challenge to read through the Bible this year. She just finished the book of Leviticus (no small feat). This is the e-mail she sent me after reading it:
You are a sinner!!!!! Leviticus 19:28! Have a good day!! I finally made my way through that book… how can they remember all that stuff!

I am sinner out of the same passage. A few verses higher, it said to not eat meat that has the blood in it. That means no dark meat turkey at Thanksgiving!!! No chicken legs or thighs???? Sounds like I will be a heathen for life!!
I now want to get a tattoo that says, simply “Leviticus 19:28″
It’s light or dark depending on whether it’s fast twitch or slow twitch muscle fiber. That’s why wild game birds are all dark meat; they fly so their breasts are dark. You absolved, Robert.
I got the same message in my e-mail too. I posted it on facebook. I do love how she told us to have a nice day….gave it more of a cheerful feeling.
