Easter Living Stones Church

Posted: April 12, 2009 in Living Stones Church, vision

WOW! What a morning.  I was exhausted.  Did you know there are Pastors who preach like six services on a weekend during Easter!!?  I have no idea how they do it.  I have never been so exhausted after a morning worship like I was this morning.  But man…what a morning.

TONS of guests and new faces.  TONS of children (new record).  A new attendance record – not only for the Living Stones Church (which the previous record was set just a few weeks ago), but for the history of the building itself (started in 1956) – by over 105 people.  This is the LAST year we will only have two services for Easter.  Not bad for the little church on Donmoyer (with the pathetic lobby…seriously…come on people…it’s pathetic!!!) who just three years ago was ecstatic because 140 people showed up (we had more infants – 4th graders than that this morning!) for Easter Sunday! 🙂

Began a new Viva la Vida series.  I’m tired…but already excited for next Sunday’s continuation.
